Apple Projected to Earn $40M/yr from iWork Suite Sales for iPad

A report by Silicon Alley Insider projects Apple could make as much as $40 million a year off their iWork suite consisting of the Pages, Keynote and Numbers apps for the iPad. According to sales figures collected, Apple has already made $3 million since they were made available in early April at the App Store.

The $40 million a year figure was based on the assumption that the iWork Suite applications are earning $825,000 per week. Since their debut on April 3rd, all three iWork apps have continued to remain amongst the top selling apps in the App Store.
