The iPad successor has been spotted once again and this time at the Feb. 2 launch event of the new iPad-specific newspaper publication ‘The Daily.’

“A Reuters eyewitness saw what appeared to be a working model of the next iPad with a front-facing camera at the top edge of the glass screen at a press conference to mark the debut of News Corp’s Daily online paper in New York on Wednesday,” according to a Reuters story from HuffingtonPost. “A source with knowledge of the device confirmed its existence, adding that the final release model could have other features. News Corp and Apple declined to comment.”

9to5Mac has also recently got its hands on some iPad 2 screens, they say, from a Chinese manufacturer.

It seems to be thinner and lighter but no word yet on what the resolution or pixel density will be like.
