Houston, Texas – The only collection of over 110 animated jokes on the iTunes app store just permanently dropped its price. In addition, two new animated series are available on the app. Giggle Bytes animates jokes in a retro 8-bit video game style, and Super Anime Jokes does the same with the manga/anime flair of japanese animation.

The app now hosts a series of contests that award prizes to the best jokes submit by viewers. The most recent contest for the best “birthday-themed jokes” will give two winners a software bundle from Win X DVD retailed at $110!

Paper People Jokes has been animating viewers’ jokes for over a year now. It has been featured on TV, and last year it was a Shortlist Selection for Original Series (top 20) in the Vimeo Festival and Awards. Viewers from around the world have contributed to its joke library, collectively receiving a number of views surpassing 100,000. Now, the iPhone and iPad app makes it even easier for viewers to record their favorite jokes to be animated by the Paper People Jokes animating staff.
