Apple iPad Banned from Yankee Stadium Due to Safety Concerns

By on May 25, 2010 at 7:26 am

Here’s a new one. In an effort to prevent injury to their fans, the New York Yankees have banned the Apple iPad from entering their stadium. They are calling it a “security and safety issue” because fans may get too distracted by the device and get hit in the face with a baseball.

Although the ban is in place, it hasn’t stopped people from bringing their ‘magical’ iPad into the stadium. People apparently have been sneaking the device in their oversized clothing.

What do you think about the ban? Do you agree or do you think it’s gone a little overboard?
