European iPad Pre-Orders Showing Up, Line Begins in Australia

UK and European iPad pre-orders have begun to show up at the homes of some very lucky and anxious customers, a day ahead of the iPad’s international launch. According to one comment received from a new UK iPad owner, “It took just ten minutes to set up.”

Meanwhile, at an Apple store in Sydney, Australia, a little bit of iPad frenzy has started, as people have begun to get in line as early as 2 a.m. this morning. Rahul Koduri, a 22-year-old aerospace engineering student at university and Telstra shop employee, is the first in line, according to a report by the Sydney Morning Herald. This isn’t the first time for this young man, as he was the second in line for the iPhone 3GS and sixth for the original iPhone.
