Kensington Reversible Sleeve for iPad Review
With today’s international launch of the iPad, more consumers will surely be in the market to find a good case to carry and protect their precious device. Today we take a closer look at Kensington’s Reversible Sleeve (7” – 10”), an inexpensive, soft neoprene case made to protect the iPad from scratches and dirt.
Review
Kensington’s Reversible Sleeve (7” – 10”), designed to fit netbooks, small tablet PCs and Amazon’s Kindle, fits the iPad perfectly. The sleeve comes with a black exterior and a gray interior, however, it is completely reversible, should you prefer it to be the other way around. When the iPad is placed inside the sleeve, the neoprene just gives enough way to hug the device. Once the top flap is pulled down, the sleeve completely covers the iPad all around, leaving nothing exposed.
The concept for sleeve cases are to provide easy access to the iPad when needed and keep it protected when not in use. Kensington’s Reversible Sleeve does just that. The sleeve is great in keeping dirt, dust and scratches away from your iPad when properly stored. It maintains the slim look of the iPad and easy to carry around, slipped into a bag or briefcase.
I must note that the neoprene material alone will not keep the iPad from harm with sudden impact or accidental drop. If that is what you are looking for, then sleeve cases aren’t for you.
Recommendation
It basically boils down to the scope of protection you’re looking for. If you want keep your iPad bare, want a case to easily get it in and out of, while providing a thin layer of protection then you simply cannot go wrong with the Kensington Reversible Sleeve. It’s simple, reversible and by far the lowest priced iPad sleeve case on the market at $9.99. Go to Kensington’s website to order your case today!
