Windsor, NY – Old Jewel Software today is pleased to announce version 2.5 of LazyMouse. Version 2.5 is a major update, offering a feature long requested by users. LazyMouse is a Preference Pane that moves the user’s cursor to the default button whenever a dialog box appears on the screen. In other words, it saves time moving the mouse to dismiss dialogs. It is a simple utility, yet it’s Old Jewel Software’s most popular offering.

Version 2.5 adds the option to show an animation whenever the mouse is moved by LazyMouse. The animation shows a ghosted cursor moving from the original mouse position to the new mouse position.

“I’ve been getting requests for this almost since version 1.0 of LazyMouse,” said Joseph Wardell, founder of Old Jewel Software, “It’s exciting to finally be able to give this to my users.”

Pricing and Availability:
LazyMouse is available for Mac OS X 10.5 and higher on both Intel and PowerPC architectures. It is shareware, and can be tried for free. A registration license costs $9.95 (USD). Before registering, the suer will regularly see a registration reminder window and will not be able to turn on the new animated cursor feature. Otherwise, the unregistered version is the same as the full version. Version 2.5 is a free upgrade for current users.
