For those who missed today’s announcement, we have some pretty amazing news to share with you! Music, videos and apps you have purchased in the past can now be downloaded into your iOS 4 devices through the new iTunes in the Cloud service for free!

For music and music videos, simply tap on your iTunes Store button, click on Purchased at the bottom of the screen and you will notice two tabs on top: All and Not On This iPhone/iPad. The All tab will list everything you’ve purchased on iTunes since you opened your account to present time. To download media currently not on your device, simply select the item under the Not On This iPhone/iPad tab and click on the cloud.

For apps you previously purchased, tap on your App Store button and the purchases will appear inside the Updates button at the bottom on the screen. A Purchased tab will appear at the top of your Updates page which will lead you to the All and Not On This iPhone/iPad page. To download apps currently not on your device, select the item and click on the cloud icon to the right.
