HP Files for “PalmPad” Name Trademark

Look out iPad! HP has a new toy — it’s called Palm — and they’re coming to play with a tablet of their own. According to recently filed paperwork at the USPTO, HP is looking to trademark the name “PalmPad”.

No other details have been uncovered at this time, including if this is the go-to-market replacement for the HP Slate. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for some info and let you know when it comes.
