Source: HP’s “PalmPad” Will Have a Digital Pen

This week, HP filed papers into the USPTO to trademark the name “PalmPad”. Now, Examiner has it on good authority that the rumored “PalmPad” will also feature a “digital pen”, along with functioning as a capacitive touchscreen.

With this functionality, the user could take notes using their own handwriting or shorthand or search the contents of their device using their handwriting.

If this proves to be true, this would be a huge advantage for the “PalmPad” over Apple’s iPad.
