Agent 18 FlowerVest for iPad Review

Have you ever wanted a device case that provides all the protection and functionality that a good case should, but also shows off your personality a little? Well, in addition to their extensive line of device cases and coverings, Agent 18 has introduced a new “FlowerVest” line of cases for the Apple iPhone 4 and the Apple iPad! Made from a durable silicon material, this case is a great no-slip grip solution that will protect your device and give it a unique look.

Review

Right out of the box, a great thing about the FlowerVest is that it takes about two seconds to get it on your device. You just slip the vest around the edges of your device and you’re ready to go. Easy on and easy off – but in a good way.

The feel of the case is that of a no-slip silicon material – like the old Blackberry sleeves – that doesn’t stick to everything in your bag. The worst thing about no-slip material cases is that they are usually difficult to get in and out of your bag because they stick to everything, but not the Agent 18 FlowerVest for iPad.

The only cut-outs on this case are for the Apple cable input at the bottom, the speakers on the bottom, and the “lock” slider on the side. For the on/off button and the volume buttons, there are silicon covers built in to the case, and they don’t inhibit the pressing of the buttons at all.

The case comes in two styles – purple/white and turquoise/white. The turquoise or purple is the bulk of the case – surrounding the device along all four sides and the back – and the white color is a flower-shaped cut out design on the back of the case. This is definitely the part of the case that separates it from others on the market. The flower design is the piece that shows of the user’s style. This design is also a no-slip silicon material that compliments the rest of the case.

Recommendation

If you’re not the type of user to batter your devices – and you pair it with a screen protector – this is a pretty nice solution, and stylish to boot. At a $39.95 price point, this is competitive with most other cases on the market. If you like what you see, there’s no reason you shouldn’t buy the Agent 18 FlowerVest for iPad.
