New York, NY, October 13, 2011 – Bob Sauerberg, President of Condé Nast, today announced that all nine of Condé Nast’s digital editions for iPad are now available in Newsstand, a key feature of iOS 5. Mr. Sauerberg also confirmed that Bon Appétit, Condé Nast Traveler and Vogue will roll out their digital editions by early 2012.
Newsstand is an exciting new feature that allows consumers to find digital newspaper and magazine products and arrange them in one easy-to-organize bookshelf in a dedicated place on the App Store. Users who are subscribed to any of Condé Nast’s digital editions — Allure, Brides, Glamour, Golf Digest, GQ, Self, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair and Wired — will receive new issues that will automatically download to their iPad. The latest issues and most recent cover art will simply appear in Newsstand.
“We are very excited about the debut of Newsstand,” said Mr. Sauerberg. “Readers can now enjoy the easy-to-organize bookshelf, and the greater level of discoverability of our brands should lead to even greater subscription growth.”
On Newsstand, subscriptions to the monthly Condé Nast digital editions will remain consistent at $19.99/yr, as well as The New Yorker at $59.99 for the digital edition or $69.99 for a print/digital bundle.
