EA Mobile™ is the 2011 winner of Mobile Entertainment magazine’s “Best Mobile Games Publisher,” marking the fifth year in a row that EA has received this award and the most that a company has won this honor. Mobile Entertainment announced the award at a ceremony tonight hosted at the Royal Garden Hotel in London. To celebrate the win with consumers, EA is kicking off a series of holiday sales.

“Our focus has always been on delivering the highest quality games across devices. That’s not an easy mission but it’s extremely rewarding to know we’re bringing the best entertainment to our fans,” said Bernard Kim, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for EA Interactive.

The EA Thanksgiving Day sale features the world’s most popular games for iPad™, iPhone®, iPod® and Android for as low as 99 cents. Fans can find their favorite titles on the iTunes App Store and Android Market and should check back between now and January for additional offers on Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod, Android devices, Barnes & Noble NOOK Tablet™, Kindle and Kindle Fire, Sony Ericsson Xperia™ PLAY, BlackBerry® Playbook™ tablet, and more.

The Mobile Entertainment awards, which launched in 2006, are designed to recognize the achievements of pioneering companies in imaging, music, and games. Awards are judged in secret by a jury of 400 carefully selected content business executives. EA Mobile received the best game publisher award from Mobile Entertainment in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Chillingo, which was acquired by EA, received the award in 2010.
