Logitech announced today its new Logitech Alert iOS apps for iPad and iPhone. The new apps, compatible with iOS 5, offer enhanced, live audio and video streaming and the option to save recorded Alert videos to your device’s Photos application.

Logitech Alert for iPhone feature updates:

• Live audio and H.264 video streaming
• View thumbnail of recent camera footage as soon as you open the app
• Save recorded videos to your device’s Photos app (Mobile Commander feature)
• Rotate the device to watch the video in landscape or portrait
• Receive automatic app updates

Logitech Alert for iPad feature updates:

• Save recorded videos to your device’s Photos app (Mobile Commander feature)
