iTunes 9.1 Adds New Book Section, Automatic 128 kbps AAC Format Conversion

A reliable source had just reported to MacRumors about the latest enhancements we’ll soon see on the upcoming iTunes 9.1 update. The update is assumed to be released the same day as iPad’s launch, April 3rd. Here’s the breakdown:
- Audiobooks, will be replaced instead with a Books section, which will display all compatible book content for connected devices.
- Users will have more flexibility with Genius Mixes; now allowing for renaming mixes, rearrangement by dragging and deletion from right clicking.
- Several changes made regarding device support; Check for Update and Restore buttons have been moved to the left side of the screen.
- Allows for automatically converting songs to 128 kbps AAC format when syncing.
