Widget Press Introduces FormEntry 2.3

Atlanta, Georgia – Widget Press, Inc. today is proud to announce the next major version to its FormEntry family of Mac software. FormEntry for Mac, FormEntry Server and the all new FormEntry Touch have all been updated to version 2.3. These applications are designed exclusively for iOS, Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server, and allow for easy custom iOS form app creation and deliver to any iPad, iPhone and iPod touch device.

FormEntry for Mac 2.3:
Featuring a new Image, Barcode, PIN, Ratings, Web Browser controls and WebDAV, SFTP, Open In, Save Transmittal Plug-Ins, FormEntry for Mac authors can develop rich form based applications for their iOS users. Once created on a Mac, the authors can send their forms over Wi-Fi to any iOS device to be completed.

FormEntry Touch 2.3:
FormEntry Touch has an improved core and works on any iOS 6.0 or higher device. Users can work with form based application in native landscape or portrait orientations on the iPad. FormEntry Touch also adds the ability to update forms remotely, from anywhere on the Internet with FormEntry Server.

FormEntry Server 2.3:
In addition to syncing over a local Wi-Fi Bonjour network and over the Internet, FormEntry Server has a rewritten core and performance has significantly improved using Apple ARC technology.

FormEntry Server allows for easy pairing of FormEntry for Mac authors and FormEntry Touch users. Accounts are created for authors and are assigned a group name. When a form documents gets published to the server, the assigned iPad, iPhone or iPod touch device will receive any new or updated forms automatically.
