CycleMap – One Year On The App Store
Quebec, Canada – CycleMap is now available on the Apple AppStore since one year. To celebrate this important milestone, a new version is available for download today. We received a lot of feedback since the initial release and a lot of highly requested featured are now coming to the App Store with this update.
As the first major improvement of this newly released version, the user interface has been rework to offer a better experience to every user. The users now have the choice of how they prefer to view the information. Directions are still available step by step as usual but the users can now view all step at once by browsing them in a table. In that way, it’s really easy for everyone to have a complete overview of the entire route or to jump easily to a specific step.
Existing features have also been improved to be more intuitive and more flexible for the users. The directions search is the most popular feature of CycleMap, we worked really hard to provide a better experience to everyone who use this feature. The information from the address book are now available directly in the app. The direction search results may now contain up to three alternative paths, this option gives the users more flexibility to decide the type of route they prefer when searching for cycling route.
In one year, the app has changed a lot, but the goal is always the same, help cyclists from everywhere in the world finding cycling routes and guiding them easily and safely when cycling. CycleMap will continue to evolve and lots of new features are already planned for the upcoming months. It all started with a simple worldwide cycling map and it quickly became a reference in cycling. Today, CycleMap is delivering a great and helpful experience to every cyclist.
