Augmented Reality Has Never Looked More Magical

London, United Kingdom – Alakazapps! announces an amazing new Augmented Reality magic trick app for iPhone and iPad. Magic Sword AR 1.0 combines a clever magic secret and visually stunning Augmented Reality to deliver a magic trick like you’ve never seen before.

After having a playing card chosen, the magician introduces an unusual looking card containing all the numbers and suits available in a standard deck of playing cards. In the centre of the unusual card is an illustration of a sword. When this ‘sword card’ is viewed through the Magic Sword AR camera view, the sword illustration comes to life in full 3D.

Magically floating around the deck, the sword points to the suit, and then the number of the chosen playing card. As one final act of magic, the sword rises up before slicing through the deck.

Fanning through the deck of cards, one card is physically punctured – the spectators chosen playing card.

“I’ve been working professionally in the field of Augmented Reality for four years, and magic for over a decade, combining the two creates a truly memorable piece of magic,” said Matt Leatherbarrow creator of Alakazapps.

While the illusion looks impossible, learning the secret is made incredibly easy with an innovative step-by-step video instructions system included with the app.
