Millis, Massachusetts – Park Bench Software today is thrilled to announce the return of Desktop Repainter. Just in time to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the creation of DRepaint (the original desktop repainter), it has been reborn in its new modern form for Mac OS X.

Desktop Repainter enhances your desktop / background with customizable settings for variably changing colors. The colors can stand alone, or transparently overlay any other background picture you choose. Black and white drawings and photos work particularly well, and are nicely augmented with a splash of color.

* Control when and how the colors change
* Optionally smoothly transition between colors
* Adjust the opacity level of the color, showing the desktop picture below
* Create, store and switch between customized sets of colors
* Import / Export color sets to share with others
