Field TripToday, Field Trip is even better. A location-based mobile app and guide to the world around you created by Google’s Niantic Labs, this key update to Field Trip adds a redesigned layout and new features that will allow users to focus on the types of locations and stories that are interesting and relevant to them.

In November, Field Trip reached 135 partner publishers after launching hand-crafted cards from the Curiosities book series, underground eateries from Amsterdam Foodie and insider tips to the hottest parties in SoCal from Hoop LA and more. For a full list of partners added in November see the following link:

Field Trip now sports:

  •   Publisher Preview Functionality – A new publisher preview function allows users to preview content and learn about the unique content each publisher offers
  • Redesigned Layout – The refreshed layout gives easy access to the Recent, Nearby, Favorites and Map tab with a unified bottom bar
  • Drawers – The introduction of left/right drawers makes key settings easy to navigate, access and set
  • Map View Updates – Map view will aggregate multiple cards when users zoom out to scan a larger area

The newest release of Field Trip for Android and iOS devices is available now from Google Play and the App Store.
