Popular Note App Inkflow Adds Surprisingly Useful Write-Behind Hilighter
Seattle, Washington – Qrayon, LLC today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Inkflow Plus 3.7, with a much requested new feature: The Write-Behind Highlighter. The new Highlighter tool works like the other pens, with an important difference: It draws behind existing ink. This allows you to more easily color within shapes, add shadows, and of course highlight important items.
It seems like such a simple thing, but once you use it you will wonder why more Apps don’t have this feature. You might even start wishing real pens could do this. The new Highlighter tool is an outcome of Qrayon’s design process that emphasizes simplicity for users.
Inkflow was designed and built with one over-arching goal: To be as seamless a tool as possible between your mind and the screen. The idea is that if the tools can get out of the way, and let you intuitively project what you have in mind on to the display, then magical things can happen.
Inkflow has become a daily tool for a wide variety of users, and is used for everything from taking quick notes to creating highly detailed sketch notes and graphic design.
Professional users have requested the ability to use layers for a while, but the challenge has been to add the capability without the complexity associated with it. The Write-Behind Highlighter is an example of an elegant solution to this problem. While it is not a full-blown layer system, it lets you do the one thing most people need layers for: Drawing behind what’s already on the screen. By focusing on what’s most essential, it saves you from the additional complexity of dealing with layers.
The new Write-Behind Highlighter tool is a free addition to all existing and new Inkflow Plus users. Inkflow users can upgrade in-app to Inkflow Plus to immediately get the new Highlighter tool, and all the other Inkfklow Plus features.
The new tool joins other recent innovations in Inkflow, including Inkport which lets you copy and paste from the real world.
