iPad Receives Safety Certification in China

The Apple iPad may soon be released in China, as it recently passed a major hurdle as it received the China Compulsory Certification from the China Quality Certification Center. No announcements have been made regarding its sale, however, they are one step closer in that direction.

This certification allows the iPad to be exported and sold in China but first, it will need another approval from China’s Telecommunications Equipment and Certification Center. iResearch analyst Liu Liang stated, “This has been just the first step to get it into the Chinese market.”
