Israel Set to Launch iPad in a Few Weeks
In a report given by Reuters, the Apple iPad will officially be made available in Israel within a few week’s time. iDigital, Israel’s Apple importer, however, were unable to provide specific dates on the iDevice’s availability.
An Israeli newspaper reports that one electronics chain have managed to get their hands on the revolutionary device and will begin selling the iPads for 3,800 shekels, or $1,000 each. iDigital said these iPads were not authorized and therefore will not carry warranties or full Hebrew language support.
iDigital stated, “Apple proposes that all those who are interested in buying an iPad should be patient for another few weeks and buy the products through the official Apple representative in Israel.”
