Air Attack HD for iPad places you in a top-down view of your fighter plane flying across enemy territory. Here you will face enemy planes, ground units, hot air balloons, including UFOs that want nothing but to shoot you down. Your foes will come at you from all sides, so it’s best to stay alert at all times.

There are so many things happening on screen at the same time with missiles locking in on your aircraft, to stopping a speeding train from carrying rockets to its destination. As much as you try to dodge the endless barrage of enemy fire from hitting your plane, you will eventually get shot down. This does not present a problem however, because you have an endless amount of lives which will carry you on to your last known checkpoint.

Air Attack HD provides numerous temporary power-ups like self-locking missiles, rockets including wingmen through a shop where you can spend your hard-earned money, which is accrued from your battles. Several control options are present within the game to help provide you the best possible way to maneuver your aircraft with; touch, tilt relative touch and joypad.

Graphics are absolutely fantastic for a game of this magnitude. The details that went into all the different aspects, from the fighters down to the bomb detonation as it hits the water are simply incredible. The action is fast, clean and constantly moving. For a mere $.99, it’s a wonderfully orchestrated type of chaos that will definitely keep you entertained!
