Steve Jobs Reports iPad, iBook and App Sales Figures

At the iPhone OS 4.0 event today, Steve Jobs stated that Apple have sold 450,000 iPads since its launch last Saturday. On the first day alone, 250,000 iBooks and 1 million iPad apps were downloaded. As of today, Jobs reports Apple has sold 600,000 iBooks and 3.5 million iPad apps.

He went on to add that the App Store currently has 185,000 apps, including 3,500 iPad apps and thus far, there have been over 4 billion apps have been downloaded to date.
