Apple recently changed their iPad Wi-Fi + 3G order page with a shipping by May 7th, as opposed to the late April date that preceded it. However, those who had previously preordered their 3G iPads before the change have begun receiving emails to confirm that their orders is still scheduled to ship in late April as promised.

According to the Apple sales representative I had spoken to this morning, he was completely unaware of the date change but reassured me that if I were to place an order now, I would receive my iPad no later than May 7th. I seriously doubt that. I wonder if the local stores will receive their 3G iPad shipments in before May?
