Camera for iPad, an app that adds a camera wirelessly to your iPad by using your iPhone’s camera, just received significant improvements with the update to Version 1.1.
New features in Version 1.1:
- Now supports WiFi in addition to Bluetooth! Much faster speeds, and increased range too.
- Flash! Take pictures in the dark: your iPad or iPod touch can act as a remotely controlled “Flash” to illuminate the scene. (For best results, turn up the brightness on the iPad or iPod touch.)
- Support for 1st generation iPhone and iPod touch (WiFi connection only). Now ALL models are supported!
- Added a “Take Photo” button to the iPhone sending.
- Added “Mirror” mode on the iPad to view the video flipped–so you can use it as a mirror. (Note that photos aren’t saved flipped.)
- Added “Email” button on the iPad to take a picture, transfer it from the iPhone, and add it to an email all in one go.
- Note: You will need to upgrade both devices because of the improved communication.
