Oprah, Nothing but Praise about iPad on Show

Oprah Winfrey, when speaking with Omar Wasow, tech analyst, in a recent show, called the iPad “amazing.” She spoke of the device’s interactive interface, allowing books to “move” and stated the new iDevice as a game changer when it comes to the way kids learn.

Oprah, who promoted and increased the popularity of the Kindle, mentioned how the Amazon Kindle app for iPad also allowed readers to read their Kindle books on the new iPad. Furthermore, she went on to say that not only will the backlighting on the iPad allow users to read in the dark, but share photos and play games, as well.

A spokesman for Oprah stated that the TV mogul has not banished her Kindle altogether. In fact, it was reiterated that she indeed uses both the Kindle and iPad.

Oprah’s Book Club is currently featured on Apple’s iBookstore.
