Rumor: iOS 4.2 Update Coming Friday

According to a MacStories’ source, Apple will release the much anticipated iOS 4.2 update on Friday, November 12th at 10 a.m. Tomorrow, we will see the release of iTunes 10.1 and Mac OS X 10.6.5 via Software Update which must be installed in order to run the new AirPlay and AirPrint features found in iOS 4.2.

iOS 4.2 will deliver more than 100 new features to the iPad that includes multitasking, folders and printing. Stay with us and we’ll let you know as soon as the update hits the airwaves!

UPDATE: Mac OS X 10.6.5 is now available for download via Software Update.

      shangobob I am not exactly sure when it will be released but it will be released some time this month! I have a friend that works for apple says it will be released at the end of this month!!!

    Is true…all these sites just repeat the same speculation with no actual confirmation from the source. Why doesn’t Jobs just speak up and say something …oh that’s right he just wants you all to keep guessing.
