Posted by Jake Wright | Mar 09, 2010 | 0
According to John Gruber of Daring Fireball; “Apps that Apple didn’t show off during its iPad unveiling event weren’t just left out because there weren’t many major changes made to them, they actually won’t appear on the platform at all. Or, if they do, they won’t ship with the product and instead will be downloadable after the fact via the App Store.” The apps in question are Calculator, Stocks, Weather, Clock and Voice Memos.
iPad’s Selling on eBay For $200 or More Above Retail Price
Posted by Jake Wright | Mar 09, 2010 | 0
Auction number 170456453938 just ended on eBay, the item up for bid was a brand new Apple iPad. According to the listing the iPad is of course not currently in stock but will ship soon after April 3rd. The auction was for the 16-gig Wi-Fi only model, the item sold for $700, more than $200 above the retail price. Anytime a hot new electronic item hits the market we often see them being pre sold on eBay at over inflated prices but the iPad makes little to no sense to pay such a price. The sellers that are selling the overpriced iPads do not have any hook ups no friends on the inside they are going to pre order just like everyone else and just like everyone else hope they get one.
