“I’m going to write more about this shortly but having had my iPad for about 3 weeks I have to say that the iPad and other devices like it are going to murder large sections of the Windows based market,” said a one Windows developer. Frogboy, as his screen name appears, compliments the iPad because of its instant on mode, speed and the App Store.
International iPad Pre-Orders Face More Delays, New Orders Now Ship in June

Just like what happened with the U.S. pre-orders, if you wait too long to place your order, you face the possibility of ship dates getting pushed further back. This is what is happening with the international pre-orders. If you placed your international pre-order after May 22nd, you will now have to wait a little while longer. How much longer? According to the order page, it will ship in June.

Mike Abramsky, an RBC Capital Markets analyst, recently disclosed that Apple is selling over 200,000 iPad per week compared to roughly 110,000 Macs sold within the same time period in the U.S. iPad sales come in just below of the iPhone 3GS, Apple’s biggest seller.
International Access to App Store Now Available, Limited Functionality

Although the international release of the iPad isn’t until next week, access to the International App Store was made available today. iPadevice, an Italian website, has posted some screenshots and have reported that the store seems to be working, showing new apps and ratings, however the bookstore remains unfinished.

Apple has conceded to public pressure and will no longer enforce their no cash policy for the iPad. As of yesterday, you will be able to use cash and gift cards to purchase the ‘magical’ iPad, as long as you set up an Apple account at the store.
