Apple has conceded to public pressure and will no longer enforce their no cash policy for the iPad. As of yesterday, you will be able to use cash and gift cards to purchase the ‘magical’ iPad, as long as you set up an Apple account at the store.

Last month, it was reported that Hulu had planned on launching their $10 premium subscription service called Hulu Plus as soon as May 24. Today, MediaMemo’s Peter Kafka, stated there is “no way” this service will become available by next week.

Although it has been reported that only 365 people purchased the GQ, December 2009 Men of the Year, iPad Edition, the publisher remains in high spirits. “This costs us nothing extra: no printing or postage. Everything is profit, and I look forward to the time when iPad issue sales become a major component to our circulation.”

Meefedia, a firm monoriting online videos on the internet, have reported the steady increase of iPad-accessible websites, as seen through their chart comparison from January 2010. Currently, 26 percent of videos online are iPad-ready, meaning they have been converted into H.264 or HTML5 formats, instead of Flash, which neither iPad nor iPhone/iPod Touch support.
