Analyst Reports Apple Outsourced Over 2 Million iPad Units for July

According to Mingchi Kuo, Digitimes Research’s senior analyst, Apple placed roughly 2.3-2.35 million iPad units to Taiwan manufacturers for the month of July. Kuo stated that 58-60% of these orders are for the 3G version of the device.Read more

An Apple employee’s home was recently robbed by a couple of thieves who made off with $20,000 worth of electronic goods which included 2 iPads, an iBook, laptops and a PC. They almost got away with it, however, the owner had already activated the Find My iPad feature on his Find My iPhone app, allowing the police to track and apprehend the two robbers.Read more
