Today, we were given the opportunity to interview BulkyPix’s COO and CMO, Vincent Dondaine. Created in 2008, BulkyPix is a well known developer of high quality games and applications for a mobile platforms for iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7, Samsung and tablets. Today, we were given the opportunity to interview Orian Livnat, President of Liv Games and creator of Legendary Wars, a game described by our writer, Gwen Phua, as “a fabulous side-scrolling game that combines real-time strategy with action, castle defense and attack.” Topics of discussion included the latest update to Legendary Wars and what the future holds for Liv Games.

For thousands of years, books have been used as a way to transcribe historical events, thoughts, stories, and images onto paper (and various other materials) for reading at a later time. Flash forward to modern day history beginning in the 1970’s, books have made their way onto an electronic format dubbed “e-Book” to be used on “e-Readers”. The two most common e-reader devices used today are Amazon’s Kindle and Apple’s iPad, however the iPad offers additional experiences that are changing the way both children and adults are reading books.

One of the leading iPhone publication companies, Chillingo LTD, is known all to well for searching high and low for RPG style shoot-em-up games, especially those that involve zombies and other creatures that go bump in the night such as Minigore HD, now available for iPad. It came without mention that Chillingo would push a new and upcoming title called Zombie Wonderland, developed by an emerging studio called Xoobis. I got to speak with Xoobis President, Alex Bortoluzzi this week regarding their company, iPhone experience, and upcoming game for the iPad.

Having the opportunity to develop for a leading publishing company is a huge deal, especially for developers who are struggling in the App Store. Christopher Kalanderopoulos, Founder and CEO of Movile Inc. has developed an app called BoardBox for the iPad, under one of the leading gaming publishers, Chillingo. We had the unique chance to interview Christopher this week and received some great feedback regarding developing for mobile apps.
