New Trailer of Starfront: Collision
Posted by Mike Lata | Feb 07, 2011 | 0
Gameloft‘s latest iOS offering — the Starcraft-inspired real time strategy game, Starfront: Collision, has been announced for Feb. 10 on the iPhone and iPod Touch. An iPad version is sure to follow as in previous videos it was shown. Gameloft just released a new trailer showing off some of the gameplay and information about the three races or factions. It will be interesting how the community responds to the game and if Gameloft allows for creation of custom scenarios or maps. Although the game can probably never hope of matching Battle.net’s success, it could become the ‘Starcraft’ of the App Store. The multiplayer is only up to four players so far, however, but it’s a start as not many other RTS games on iOS have been done successfully and with online multiplayer yet.
