For Kindle owners still over the fence about making the switch to the iPad, this news may just push them towards the Apple device now. Amazon has just announced their plans for a Kindle App specifically made for tablets which includes the iPad. This app will open up the 450,000 Kindle titles they now have available in their library. As you may recall from our earlier report, Barnes & Noble also disclosed that an eReader app, that allows their readers access to over 1 million plus books are well underway for the iPad, as well.

In a late night facebook chat with Dave from Bolt Creative, creator of the world famous Pocket God app made a few comments about Pocket God and the iPad. Dave said that they have been looking into creating an iPad app of Pocket God but had nothing to announce at the time. He did however confirm there would be no Pocket God app by the April release of the iPad
iPad App Development Showing a Large Spike According to Flurry

Every since the unveiling of the new iPad on January 27th app development has spiked 185 percent according to analytics company Flurry. Here is the breakdown of app development by category; on-line-centric companies developed 22 percent of the the iPhone apps, next companies that were founded to specifically create iPhone apps came in at 20 percent. Gaming companies make up about 19 percent of the apps and your traditional media and bricks-and-mortar companies closely following at 17 percent each. On the lower end, mobile-centric companies came in at 5 percent.
Zen Bound 2 for iPad Due Out By April 3rd

According to Secret Exit, developers of Zen Bound, Zen Bound 2 for iPad will not only be due out in the App Store soon, but that it’ll be before April 3rd, because they’re aiming to have a day one iPad version ready to go as well. Looking at the picture, it’s going to be just as gorgeous as the first game providing high resolution, crisp UI with lots of room to breathe, and offering the same physics-based rope-twisting gameplay as the first game.

Redeye has announced plans to make an adapter that will turn the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad into a flashy high tech universal remote control. The adapter will run you $49 dollars. Considering the high price of some remotes like Logitech’s Harmony 900 super remote the price tag might not be to bad depending on what features and options are made available.
