The San Francisco Chronicle today releases its first app for iPad. The Chronicle for iPad is an extension of the newspaper’s award-winning, in-depth coverage that readers have come to expect from the Bay Area’s leading news source. Paid subscribers have access to the iPad app through their current subscription. For new users, access to the app is free for the first 30 days. Stories, features & photos are optimized for iPad to give users a more visually dynamic presentation of the daily news.
LittleFin has announced the inclusion of Chronicle in TheMacBundles’ March bundle. Chronicle keeps track of the user’s bills, and reminds them when each one is due using iCal, even when neither program is running. It also remembers payment history for each bill, and organizes scanned or downloaded receipts by date, so the user can quickly find and view them for reference or proof of payment. Reminders are added to iCal, so they appear on the user’s iPhone automatically when synced.
