About one year later … We’re back to Infinity Blade … II by Chair Entertainment Group. The overall game is very much in keeping with the original release, but this sequel boasts several enhancements that make the game a lot more fun, and it also feels considerably less repetitive.

Great news came out of the Game Developers Conference 2011 today as Gameloft revealed that it has signed a “long-term, multi-platform licensing agreement with Epic Games.” This will enable Gameloft to integrate Unreal Engine 3 into four new titles which will be released in 2011 and 2012.

Epic Games, creators of Infinity Blade, is happily sharing the same development toolset used for their mega hit game to iPhone and iPad developers for free. The bar has been set, the tool has been provided and now it’s up to game developers to show us what they can do. The press release appears below:
