Two Seattle based developers of mobile applications, Benjamin Monnig and Rick Drake, have announced that they are recreating the Microsoft Courier, and have successfully raised initial funding for their project named Tapose. In addition to Monnig and Drake, Tapose is comprised on several previous Microsoft Courier team members who eagerly jumped on board to bring the product back to life. Tapose has quickly gained popularity and is now one of the most anticipated mobile applications for 2011.

Startup game development studio, Bravado Waffle, Inc. has announced their upcoming debut title RoboArena, a game inspired by the board game classic Robo Rally. The company has started a campaign to raise funds for completing RoboArena on the popular creative funding platform Kickstarter. RoboArena is a top down, turn-based casual strategy, multiplayer puzzle action game. The Kickstarter campaign to fund RoboArena’s development started on April 25th.
