No Wi-Fi clearance, means no iPads into Israel. Not yet, anyways. Customs agents are being instructed to prevent iPads from entering Israel because the communications ministry has not given the iPad the Wi-Fi clearance it needs to operate in country. The ruling comes although the chip residing inside the iPad has already been in use in a number of Israel’s approved devices.
