EA Mobile and Chillingo have been nominated for the 16th Annual Webby Awards in the Games (Tablets & All Other Devices) category. Real Racing 2 HD and Contre Jour are among the five finalists selected in this group and are currently being considered for two awards: The Webby Award and The Webby People’s Voice Award.

Bloomberg today announced that its award-winning Bloomberg Businessweek+ App is now available on the iPhone and iPod touch. Bloomberg also announced that the Bloomberg Businessweek+ App for iPad, launched back in April 2011, has now surpassed 100K subscribers. The app has helped Bloomberg broaden its reach globally with 35 percent of subscribers residing outside of the United States.

Disney congratulates Chunli Fu of Qingdao, China, whose download of the hit game, Where’s My Water? Free, solidified Swampy’s spot in App Store history. In an official announcement by Apple today, the hit Disney game Where’s My Water? Free became the 25 billionth app to be downloaded from the App Store.

According to AllThingsD, invitations were handed out for Apple’s upcoming special event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco on March 7th. The event, based on the graphic on the invite, is believed to be the announcement for the next evolution of the iPad.
