The new episode takes place in a hot new Pygmies-only dance club, where the island’s hapless inhabitants can unwind after a long day of perpetual death, and take part in a new dancing mini-game… which will also actually lead to their demise. It’s a rough life, being a Pygmy.

Ape Entertainment and Bolt Creative announced today that Pocket God Comics issue No. 16 is now available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. In part two of “Gem Cell Research,” the girls’ gem is still in disrepair and the only way to fix it is with a laser.

A new content update has gone live today for Pocket God – one of the App Store’s most successful games. The update is called Episode 42: Bone Soup and gives players new ways to sacrifice Pocket God’s immortal pygmies!

Gamers may want to start stockpiling vinegar as Pocket God announced today its newest jellyfish-filled content update for Episode 41, “I Sting the Body Electric,” is now available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users. As part of this update, Pocket God also announces that Episode 41 now supports the latest features of iOS 5, including asynchronous turn-based gaming and iCloud storage.

Episode 37 of Pocket God is now available to download. The latest update integrates the Moron Test with the ‘Island of Misfit Crossovers’, adds a mini-game and offers a new Spider Skin Pack as an in-app purchase for $.99.

If you can’t get enough of playing God on your iPhone by tossing about a bunch of tiny pygmies, here’s some good news for you. Bolt Creative has delivered Pocket God: Journey to Uranus to the iPad. Now, other than toying with the pygmies on Earth and feeding them to the volcano, you can take them to outer space, where the pygmies will have close encounters with aliens and dragons.

In a late night facebook chat with Dave from Bolt Creative, creator of the world famous Pocket God app made a few comments about Pocket God and the iPad. Dave said that they have been looking into creating an iPad app of Pocket God but had nothing to announce at the time. He did however confirm there would be no Pocket God app by the April release of the iPad
