The title is a bit of a misnomer. Pocket RPG by Crescent Moon Games and Tasty Poison is not so much of an RPG as it is an action game with RPG elements, and obviously, an iPad does not fit into a pocket—not a regular-sized pocket at any rate. That said, this dungeon crawler makes battling monsters so fun it might just make you want to lug your iPad around more often, even if you have to carry a bag to do so.

Independent developer Randall Meyer today introduces Bots & Trons 1.0 for iOS, his new action/adventure, real-time strategy game that also includes elements of RPGs. Featuring 12 worlds, 12 bosses, and hundreds of levels, the game’s simple controls allow players to upgrade one of eight heroes, plus one of nine different sidekicks, to create one of thousands of weapon combinations.
