Florida based Dyerware today announced a recent update of feedHopper RSS Reader for the iPad. Created specifically for the iPad, feedHopper allows users the opportunity to view their favorite RSS feeds, as well as Twitter, Podcasts, and Web pages through a single polished iPad-centric platform. The newly updated fourth version of this app expands its functionality to include a “Reading Mode” option when viewing RSS feeds to format them for easier viewing.
Candywriter today announces Candyticker 1.0, a freeware RSS screensaver for the iOS community. The Mac OS X screensaver displays real-time App Store developments in a Wall Street-themed stock ticker. Candyticker is fully customizable and supports any ranking app on iTunes. Developers can assign custom “ticker symbols” to their apps and configure Candyticker to display a running feed of their current iTunes chart positions in up to 10 different countries.
Independent developer Daniel Isenhower today introduces Nice RSS 1.0 for iPad, his feature-filled RSS Browser/Reader. The app is built around a customizable menu system that allows the feed list to be docked against any edge in either landscape or portrait mode. Emphasizing readability, Nice RSS also includes its own web browser function, YouTube and Vimeo video playback, integrated sync with the user’s Google Reader settings, adding and deleting subscriptions, and built-in sharing connectivity.
