SMEStorage today announced support for Office365, Alfresco and S3 compatible Clouds for iSMEStorage, the iPhone and iPad Cloud File Manager. iSMEStorage uniquely presents a local and Cloud File Manager for iOS devices enabling local files to be uploaded and managed as well as the ability manage aggregated Storage Clouds from a single file system. The new Clouds are available to all free, personal and business accounts and to existing iSMEStorage users.

The SMEStorage Open Cloud Platform has now added support for Google Sites so that Google Sites users can easily access, modify, and upload data to to Google SItes from a variety of desktop and mobile clients. Google Sites can be used with the SMEStorage Open Cloud Platform for free by registering a free account at SMEStorage. The free windows dashboard and Linux tools can be used to work with Google Sites but certain tools and features.
SMEStorage, the multi cloud data access company has released the first version of its Mac Cloud Tools. The Cloud Tools encompass a virtual Cloud Drive that is integrated into the Mac Desktop, a desktop to Cloud synchronization tool, and Cloud Files indexed and integrated into spotlight. Unlike other silo’d storage provider SMEStorage works as an abstraction layer above over 15 storage clouds and enables users to access and manage files from all the major storage vendors.
SMEStorage has now added support for the Amazon Cloud Drive within it’s multi-cloud platform. This enables the Amazon Cloud Drive to be mapped as a Network Drive in Windows, Mac and Linux, and it also enabled for the sync tooling that SMEStorage has for each of these desktop operating systems. In addition to desktop support SMEStorage supports the Amazon Cloud Drive on iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry mobile devices, as well as for the SMEStorage browser applications.
SMEStorage today announced that they have released CloudFTP, a new feature add-on for their open cloud platform that FTP enables storage clouds even if the underlying storage cloud does not support the File Transfer Protocol. This means transferring files can be as easy as launching an FTP client. The CloudFTP feature continues a theme of providing ubiquitous access into silo’d storage clouds. Uploading data to different sessions is as simple as uploading files to different storage directories.
UK based SMEStorage today announced that it has added support for the icloud browser based desktop service enabling icloud users to use SMEStorage tools and clients to manage and work with their cloud data. icloud offers a nice 3GB free storage and cloud stored files. It can be accessed and managed from all clients and tools that SMEStorage supports. These include desktop cloud tooling and virtual drives for Windows, Mac and Linux, and also mobile support for iPhone/iPad, Android and BlackBerry.
SMEStorage today announced support for Microsoft Azure Blob Storage within the SMEStorage Cloud Gateway platform. The Azure Cloud will be immediately supported from the Mac, Windows and Linux Desktop Cloud Tools, and also from the iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry mobile devices. There are also plug-in’s for the Firefox and Chrome internet browsers and SMEStorage also makes available access to Azure from a WebDav and Amazon S3 API.
SMEStorage today announced that its unique CloudDav offering has been updated to support WebDav access to DropBox and Google Storage. CloudDav adds a WebDav access layer to any cloud that SMEStorage supports though its Cloud Gateway, even if the underlying Storage Provider does not support WebDav. The service already supported over 10 other Clouds including Amazon S3, Google Docs, and Microsoft SkyDrive.
SMEStorage has added support for the Google Storage Cloud into iSMEStorage, their iPad and iPhone application, that not only provides a local file manager capability, but also enables users to connect to one or more storage clouds and manage them within a virtual cloud file system. It is immediately available in all our client applications including the iPad, iPhone, Android and BlackBerry mobile devices , and from the WIndows, Mac and Linux Cloud Drives.
