You can be a fiddler, and you don’t need to own a fiddle. You don’t necessarily have to be a musician either. All you’ll need at hand are an iPad and Magic Fiddle by Smule. The app will guide you in all the finer points of being a good fiddler and provide you with lovely songs to play, from simple pieces to the more advanced. Within minutes, music will sound from your fingertips.

Smule, known for their popular musical apps, adds another musical piece to its collection, the Magic Fiddle for iPad. Similar to the Magic Piano, the Magic Fiddle recreates a violin on the iPad which you can pick up and play with no skill required.

From the makers of the Ocarina, Leaf Trombone and I Am T-Pain for the iPhone and iPod Touch, Smule has developed a dedicated iPad app, Magic Piano, for the piano music lover in us. My first experience with this app came from watching a YouTube video that was posted of pianist Lang Lang, who in a concert, came out toting an iPad and played Flight of the Bumblebee as his encore performance. So, as a piano music fan, I had to try it out for myself.
