comScore recently released a study conducted using internet users (2,176 people) and their feelings towards the iPad and other e-Readers. Out of these consumers interviewed, 37 percent said they will likely read books on the iPad with another 34 percent reading books and magazines on the device.
Other interesting finds show “iOwners,” people who already own an iPhone or iPod Touch, are more likely to purchase newspaper and magazine subscriptions than those who do not. This is due in part by their familiarity with iTunes and are more receptive to using the store to make their purchases for the iPad.
