This novel multi-function AR viewfinder app serves as a compass, GPS, map, zoom camera, rangefinder, and two-axis inclinometer. Version 2.1 of Theodolite adds a rotating compass rose map overlay, banded UTM position format, NATO mil compass readout, and an advanced “fusion” algorithm that combines gyro and magnetometer data on the iPhone 4 for an accurate, responsive, and robust compass reading.
